Liane is a certified yoga instructor who teaches Svaroopa® yoga and has been in training with Master Yoga's advanced teacher training for the past 10 years focusing now on Svaroopa® yoga therapy. Liane has been practicing and teaching yoga for over 20 years. Having always been a seeker she studied many styles of yoga and a variety of healing modalities while living in New York City.  Always searching for something more. That search finally ended when she discovered meditation and Svaroopa® Yoga. Words cannot describe the inner transformation she experienced during a meditation intensive in upstate New York.  “I was given a gift--a gift of awakening."  She discovered that what she had been searching for (bliss) on the outside was there all the time on the inside.  “I feel blessed for the teachers I have had and it is with profound gratitude that I attempt to offer what I have been taught."

Sophia D’Addario is a Hatha Yoga instructor who has been practicing different styles and taking classes for over 10 years. After completing her Environmental degree Sophia spent time traveling and studying marine mammals before returning home to her roots here in Cortland. She spent a few years as a first mate and aquatic educator for a nonprofit on Cayuga Lake before pursuing a career in the yogic community. Sophia completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training with honors from the Aura Wellness Center in June 2017. In September of 2017 Sophia successfully completed a Svaroopa foundations training to enhance her teaching skills and further understand yoga’s principles of consciousness. Sophia chose to pursue a career in the yogic community to help others stay healthy, active and cope with the stresses of everyday life. Sophia’s classes will teach you how to use steadily held poses and breathing patterns to strengthen and lengthen your muscles, align your chakras, and ground static energy within the body.
